Choose the source for your question

Use this page to find dated publisher information and the site references affected by it. A release announcement answers what was announced or launched; a patch notice answers what changed in an installed game. A trailer does not, by itself, provide a complete changelog or prove a numerical balance change.

The official Steam news hub is the ongoing publisher feed. The selected records below were reviewed on October 12, 2026. This is a manually maintained reference, not a live feed or a claim that every intervening announcement has been collected.

October 9, 2026: Dark Arisen launch

The CAPCOM Town Store launch notice confirms the launch and identifies Dark Arisen as a bundle containing the main game and expansion. Check the exact product and platform before purchasing additional content already included in your edition.

Use the expansion hub to choose the relevant feature reference, or the expansion update record for its dated source trail. The store announcement is release evidence, not an item-reward table or a patch-version identifier.

September 2, 2026: free update and gameplay preview

CAPCOM France's dated announcement describes an available free update, additional save slots, broader weapon-skill assignment and smoother performance, alongside a relic-expedition preview.

For practical follow-up, review saves and New Game Plus and skills and augments. The relic-appraisal reference covers the separate expansion system. This official summary does not establish an exact current slot count, a save-recovery guarantee or all platform-specific fixes.

June 10, 2026: release and platform plans

CAPCOM's corporate announcement gave an October 9 release date and listed Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It identified paid expansion content for the game released in March 2024.

That dated plan and the later launch notice serve different purposes. When checking availability, use the announcement date and the exact store listing rather than treating all earlier promotional wording as a current offer.

Read dates, platforms and scope together

Before applying a change to your character or build, identify the source publication date, its platform coverage and whether it describes an available update or future content. The review date displayed on this page is our source-check date, not a new release date.

A publisher summary can establish the existence of a change while leaving numerical details unresolved. For full change lists, start from the patch-notes reference and open the official source. For a purchase or account problem, use publisher support instead of a fan-site gameplay note.

Keep connected references consistent

An update affecting save behavior, skill assignment or acquisition can require several site pages to be checked together. Links here point to those references so you can inspect their individual evidence and limitations. They do not certify that all existing base-game equipment values have been retested against the latest build.

This page provides a source directory with selected dated context. The expansion update article retains the focused expansion chronology; neither page invents a news story to fill a missing official record.
