Dark Arisen: Official Release and Update Record

October 9, 2026: launch confirmed

CAPCOM’s own store announced the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. Its notice distinguishes the main-game-plus-expansion bundle from the expansion content alone. This is the launch source for our expansion hub, not an inference from a trailer upload date.

September 2, 2026: systems preview and free update

CAPCOM France described the relic-expedition system and announced a free update with quality-of-life changes, additional save slots and changes to weapon-skill assignment. This record does not invent a patch version, exact slot count or undocumented save-overwrite behavior from that summary.

For the officially described appraisal loop, see Relic Appraisal. The article separates confirmed system descriptions from the numerical data that has not yet been checked.

June 10, 2026: release and platform announcement

CAPCOM’s corporate release announced the October 9 date and the Nintendo Switch 2 version alongside the other listed platforms. The announcement describes paid expansion content for the game released in March 2024.

How this record is maintained

This page is a source log, not a claim to include every hotfix or every platform-specific note. A dated announcement and a detailed patch changelog answer different questions. Consult the patch-note sources for version-specific details and compare them with the version installed on your platform.

Dates describe the underlying announcements; the review date records when this page’s sources were checked. The page is not automatically refreshed, and no future update is represented as already released.
