The officially described loop
CAPCOM’s September system description presents Norgand as the preparation point for expeditions into Norgan. Recovered finds are appraised by Jiera in the settlement. The outcome can be equipment with improved attributes and abilities; the description also explains that apparently similar finds need not resolve into identical results.
The important distinction is between collecting an unappraised find and obtaining the final equipment. Identifying one does not establish the exact attributes of the other.
Where exploration fits
The official account describes both enemies and exploration as sources of finds. It mentions abandoned settlements and caves as places to investigate rather than saying every reward requires one named boss. That supports a broad expedition loop, not a guaranteed farming route or an exact respawn timer.
Our suggested preparation is to leave with a clear objective, check supplies and make a return plan before extending the trip. Record the source of a find while you still remember the encounter or location; do not assume two similar-looking drops are interchangeable.
A preview observation is not a retail price list
PlayStation’s August hands-on report calls the unappraised loot Spoils and describes spending Rift Crystals during appraisal in the demo. That is a dated preview observation, not a verified current price for every item. This page therefore supplies no fixed appraisal cost, exchange rate or automatic resource calculator.
Before confirming a transaction, read the currency, cost and result information shown in your installed game. Do not spend resources on the assumption that a demo example defines all retail outcomes.
What to compare after appraisal
Compare the actual resulting item’s vocation compatibility, attributes, abilities and enhancement state against what you use. Our suggested evaluation asks which problem it solves rather than treating rarity alone as a universal ranking.
The named-weapon reference is a separate base-game sample. It is not a table of all possible appraised versions, so a matching weapon family does not establish a matching relic result.
Data not supplied here
This reference does not claim a complete affix list, guaranteed rolls, reroll rules, drop percentages or a finished farming route. Those need item- and encounter-level evidence. The official loop and Jiera’s role can be described without inventing those missing details.
