Dragon's Dogma 2 Hub Privacy and Local Data
Understand how DD2 Hub stores personal checklists, handles backup files and loads external fonts, plus the hosting details still needed before public release.
Scope of this notice
This notice describes the current DD2 Hub preview, reviewed on October 12, 2026. The application contains guides, local reference filters, two personal checklist tools, a partial equipment planner, an upgrade calculator and a location navigator. It does not include registration, payments, advertisements, analytics scripts, comment submissions or a server-side user database. Adding any of those services would require updating this notice to match their actual behavior.
Local tool data and network requests are different categories. Checklist entries and build plans stay in your browser in the current implementation, while loading pages and fonts still involves requests to the services that deliver them. This notice does not claim that visiting the website sends no network information anywhere.
Personal checklist information
The Dungeon Tracker and Collectible Tracker keep the names, notes and completion states you enter in local storage for this website address. Their lists are separate. They do not read game saves, character inventories or game-account details, and the application does not upload the lists to a server.
Local storage can persist between visits, but it is tied to the browser profile and website address. Moving to another browser, device or domain does not automatically move your entries. Changes can reach another open tab using the same address and profile; this is not cross-device cloud synchronization.
This app does not encrypt checklist entries or exported backups. Someone using the same browser profile may be able to view them. Keep notes about gameplay rather than passwords, identity documents or other sensitive information.
Build Planner records
The Build Planner separately stores one plan containing its name, vocation, selected item IDs and personal skill/augment notes. Editing automatically saves it in this browser. It does not collect a character record or upload the plan. The same browser-profile and website-address limits apply. Clearing a plan requires confirmation and does not delete downloaded backups. Plan text and backups are not encrypted.
The Upgrade Material Calculator keeps selections and owned quantities only in the current page's memory. These inputs are not saved to browser local storage or sent to a server, and reloading or leaving the page discards them. It does not read the separately saved build plan or tracker lists.
Location visit records
The location navigator stores known place IDs, your unvisited/planned/visited status and notes up to 300 characters under its own local-storage key. It does not store game coordinates or read a save. Export location progress downloads its typed JSON backup; a valid import shows the incoming records before Confirm location replacement replaces them. Cancel location import keeps the current records. Clearing requires confirmation, and a failed clear can leave an older saved copy with a warning. The same browser/address, encryption and storage-failure limits described above apply. Its backups cannot be interchanged with tracker or build-plan files.
No external map, iframe, tiles or provider marker data is automatically loaded. Geographic map links navigate to the provider's website under its policies.
Backup files and replacement imports
Export backup creates a JSON file containing the selected checklist's names, notes and statuses on your device. The other tracker has its own backup type. Exporting a checklist does not copy a game save or protect a deleted character.
Import backup reads a file you select locally. Selecting it does not replace the list immediately: the tool validates the file and opens a review panel. Confirm replacement replaces that tracker’s current list; Cancel import keeps it unchanged. Imports are replacement, not automatic merging. Older unlabelled backups receive a warning because the file cannot identify which tracker produced them.
Export plan downloads the planner's version 1 JSON file. Import plan backup validates it locally and shows a review before Confirm replacement replaces the current plan. Cancel import preserves the current plan. Tracker and planner backup types are separate and cannot be interchanged. Reference attributes and prices are not copied into a plan backup; selected IDs are resolved against the current catalogue.
A file may contain the personal notes you entered. If you share it or place it in a cloud folder yourself, that is outside the application's local import/export process. Keep a copy of important progress before replacing or deleting entries.
Retention, deletion and unavailable storage
Entries remain in browser storage until you remove them, replace them through a confirmed import or clear this website's stored browser data. Deletion on the website does not delete JSON copies you have downloaded elsewhere. There is no server account whose deletion would erase those local files.
Private browsing, browser settings and storage clearing can remove or prevent retained data. If stored plan data cannot be read, the planner leaves it unchanged until you edit. If storage is unavailable, the tools warn that new changes are kept for the current session only. A failed plan clear may leave an older saved copy; the planner warns you to use browser site-data controls to remove it. Export before leaving when those changes matter. The tracker help explains its controls and the separate completion and reward states.
Fonts, page delivery and outside links
The interface requests stylesheets and font files from Google Fonts. Those requests go to Google services rather than the checklist store. Their handling of connection information is governed by Google's service notices; see the Google Fonts FAQ. No personal checklist fields are attached to those font requests by this application.
A service hosting the site may process ordinary request information to deliver pages and operate its infrastructure. The production host, its logging practices and retention settings have not been confirmed in this preview. We therefore do not invent a retention period, processing location or hosting-provider guarantee.
Following an external link opens content governed by that provider's policies. This application does not embed the linked announcement videos or add their newsletter forms. Your own browser extensions and device settings can also affect activity outside this site's code.
Contact and future changes
A public operator contact has not been added to this preview. Before public release, the operator must publish accurate contact details and confirm the hosting disclosures. Future changes to advertising, measurement, accounts or storage must be reflected here when implemented. This current feature description is not a claim of completed legal compliance for an unconfigured public service.
