What this package is for
This is our suggested early-game package for a player learning Fighter. Each choice has a different job. It is not copied from a damage leaderboard and has not been benchmarked as a best build.
The table lists four useful choices, not the maximum number of assignable skills in every game version. CAPCOM announced skill-assignment changes in its September 2026 update, so use the controls and available slots shown in your installed game.
Skills and learning references
| Skill | Job in this suggested package | Reference vocation rank | Reference DCP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blink Strike | Approach a target | 1 | 0 |
| Airward Slash | Attack above ordinary ground-level reach | 1 | 200 |
| Shield Summons | Draw attention toward your defended position | 2 | 300 |
| Compass Slash | Address nearby groups | 3 | 450 |
These learning figures come from the linked skill references. They are not character levels, stamina costs or a total price for every prerequisite. Check the guild before spending points; a later update can change a learning requirement.
Use the jobs in response to the encounter
Use the approach option to reach an opening, not simply because a target is visible. Choose the upward attack when the target’s position warrants it. Use the attention tool when relocating pressure would help your allies, and the group option when enemies are actually close enough for its purpose.
This is a decision sequence, not a fixed rotation. After each action, reassess your position and resources. Repeating a full sequence against an enemy that has already moved away is not made safer by following a build guide.
Equipment without an expensive shopping mandate
Start with a compatible weapon and shield you can actually obtain. Broadsword and Almace are source-linked examples in our table, not mandatory purchases or proof that one wins every matchup. Do not discard a usable shield while shopping for a sword.
Compare your current enhancement state and the shop’s displayed price. The database does not calculate final damage, armor synergies or an optimum gold budget.
When to change this package
After a familiar encounter, identify the least useful job. Replace that choice with a learned alternative that addresses an observed problem, not merely one with a dramatic name. If you need a different defensive option or a more focused single-target plan, investigate those skills separately rather than calling this introductory package complete for every boss.
