Greatswords: Warrior Gear and Acquisition

Greatswords are not Fighter swords

Greatswords are associated with Warrior, whereas one-handed swords belong to Fighter. Warrior Pawns can equip the family; Warfarer provides the Arisen's other compatibility here. Confirm the vocation before buying a weapon based on size or a larger Strength entry.

The Warrior guide covers the vocation and its learning path. Weapon ownership alone does not establish that Warrior has been unlocked.

Shop, quest and additional acquisition references

The shared table also includes Gryphic Victory. Its recorded acquisition is shop at Bakbattahl. Read the source and access notes before treating it as an available upgrade.

Flamberge is a shop example with two recorded vendors. Lifetaker has both a purchase route and a documented Beren's Final Lesson reward route. The shop price belongs to buying it; it is not a fee required to claim the quest reward. Choose the route that matches your progress rather than treating every note as a cumulative checklist.

Compare equipment in context

Our practical approach is to compare your current enhanced weapon with each candidate in the game's equipment menu before spending. The selected records give you weights and base attributes, but do not simulate attack timing, enemy defenses or the rest of your loadout.

Hammers are another Warrior family, not spare swords for Fighter. Use the actual damage-type and element descriptions when comparing them. A category change is not automatically an upgrade, and a larger reference value does not establish a best-in-slot ranking.

Keep quest equipment separate from spare loot

Before selling or consuming newly found equipment, check whether an active quest requests that item category. In particular, the guild's Vocation Frustration has equipment requests discussed in the Warrior and Sorcerer guides. Do not sell the first relevant find just because a shop lists something stronger.

Use equipment enhancement after choosing what you intend to keep. The table is intentionally a small set of sourced examples, not every greatsword or a complete quest-reward list.
