Unlock Warrior at the guild
Speak with Klaus at the Vernworth Vocation Guild and follow Vocation Frustration. The quest requests a greatsword and an archistaff; the greatsword resolves the Warrior side, while the archistaff is associated with Sorcerer. Trevo Mine is the documented search location. Bring the requested equipment back to Klaus and use the guild’s vocation menu to complete the change.
Keep quest equipment until you have resolved the request. Possessing a greatsword is not itself the same as having selected Warrior, and unlocking a vocation does not mean every later skill is learned.
Heavy attacks require an opening
Warrior uses greatswords and hammers. Its kit includes charged attacks such as Savage Lash, an area attack in Rending Sweep and forward pressure through Goring Lunge. These examples illustrate different jobs; they are not presented as one universally optimal loadout.
Suggested learning order
First learn how long an ordinary opening lasts. Try a brief attack, recover, then compare that with a committed attack only after a clear enemy recovery. If the target leaves range before the attack lands, change the timing or positioning before assuming that the weapon’s attributes are the problem.
Second, decide how the rest of the party covers the moments when you cannot safely commit. A companion who performs a different job is often easier to evaluate than several allies all waiting for the same opening. That is a planning recommendation, not a simulated party ranking.
Greatswords with documented sources
The equipment table contains Lifetaker and Flamberge. Their records distinguish a shop purchase from a quest reward and provide unenhanced reference values. The quoted gold price is not a requirement for the reward route.
Use these as alternatives to compare, not as a mandatory progression ladder. Check the inventory screen for your present enhancement state, carried weight and compatibility before selling the equipment you already use.
When to stay with Fighter instead
A player who prefers frequent shield decisions may enjoy Fighter more than a heavier commitment-based style. Warrior is another role to learn, not a compulsory promotion. Revisit the vocation selection guide when choosing based on how you want to play.
Frequently asked questions
Must I complete a separate quest for every Warrior weapon?
The guild unlock is a vocation requirement. Individual greatswords and hammers have their own acquisition sources.
Can Pawns use Warrior?
Yes. It is not one of the Arisen-exclusive hybrid vocations.
